"...He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully...not grudgingly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver." 

Here at the Pentecostals of Sydney we believe in giving, not only because it is Biblical (Proverbs 3:9, 2 Corinthians 9:6-7), but because in giving we help others do what we cannot in order to reach the world for Jesus.

 

Give, to reach Sydney

The vision for the POS is far-reaching but our number one priority is to reach the city God has placed us in. The Leadership of the POS have a vision in place, which is necessary, but faith without action is dead. The POS reaches the local communtiy in many different ways: feeding and clothing the homeless, offering free counselling, and giving without expecting. We want to be a light in this city!  

 

 

Give, to reach Australia

Over the years the POS has invested immensely in reaching the continent of Australia. We have given, not only monetarily, but also in church plants and ministries. It is our goal to, not only reach Sydney, but to help reach Australia in any way we can. The POS partners with the Home Missions Division of the UPCA in order to fulfill this goal.

 
 
 

Give, to reach the World

The final words of Jesus spoken in Acts 1:8 gives the church a clear view of how we need to reach the World. Start with your city, next your region and finally your world. The POS endeavours to fulfill this challenge given to us by our Saviour. We partner with the Foreign Missions Division of the UPCA to reach into regions such as, Indonesia, East Timor, India etc. The POS is made up of over 40 different nationalities, so instinctively we reach out to our World.
